labels aren't great, but they simplify descriptions. (unfortunately too muchso) I too have been described as a "gothic hippy", though I avoid labeling myself, as people label me enough to make up for the labeling that I dont do. But yah. I listen to all genres of music. I'm an activist, and idealist. But also a pessimist. I think life is beautiful. But so is death. So don't go hating on someone for using labels. Because I frankly dont have time to describe my entire being. So one often shortens it to something of just a few words. "gothic hippy"
exactly, if he wants to use labels to describe himself. He has every right to. Its funny how people on here who descrbie themselves as free spirited, loving, accepting and happy are actually the most bitchy, judgemental people ever.

Your saying that all hippies are pasifists and all goths are "druggies," looks like a stereotype to me. You went beyond labeling when you "broke it down."
why does everyone have to argue? who cares what people think they are? let them think it. it's they're lives.. they can act, dress, pretend to be, call themselves goths, hippies, freaks, swingers, vampires, whatever...who cares...they're all weird....
