In my search for a new RC supplier i see a couple of good ones, but the compounds they offer almost everytime have Hydrochloride or HCL at the end of the chemical name..

If i order this, can i take it or does it need to be "finished" by some more chemical process to eliminate the Hydrochloride or HCL so that all is left is the formula without it(as in pihkal)

I'm not a chemist, so is there anyone who can explain this ?

    Thanks!

HCL means hydrochloride which means the compound is a salt.
Most RC's come in the form of a salt (except those that need to be smoked in which case the HCL is converted to a freebase.)
So yeh, go ahead and eat em.
