Ok, yesterday I was speaking with a friend about getting some oxycontin. He did not have oxy, but he did have some Buprenorphine. I've searched Erowid, This forum, and a few others. I found little info. I have determined that they have recreational value, as they are an opioid used to help opiate addicts kick their addiction. What I need to know is first: What doseage should I take. I have two 4 mg pills, and next to no opiate tolerance. Second: Just to be sure that these pills are in fact Buprenorphine, they are white, small, have "N2" written on one side, and a small cross on the other. They're oval shaped. Can anyone confirm that these are Buprenorphine? Third: What's the best way to take them, besides IVing them? Orally, by letting them dissolve under my tounge, or snorting them?
I've never seen a plain buprenorphine tablet. Is it Suboxone? Suboxone contains naloxone, and opiate antagonist. If you take too much, you will get enough naloxone to block all the effects of the buprenorphine.
Dude - are you sure its a 4mg? Thats a high level pill. I'm just recently getting some that are sublingual (dissolves under your tongue) .25mg ones the guy I get them from knows theyre recreational. But check this out for instance, http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=13581, he took 5 of those .2mg pills I'm goin get and he had a crazy experience. I'm guessing a high dose like 4mg is something that would be prescribed to a herion addict going cold. Something that a person with tolerance could handle. Heres a quick web-grab" ------------ Buprenorphine This is more commonly known by its trade names, Temgesic or Transtec. Temgesic are small tablets that you put under your tongue. Transtec are patches, similar to fentanyl. Both these methods of pain control are useful if you find swallowing pills and medicines difficult. With Transtec patches, it takes at least 24 hours for the right level of the drug to build up in your bloodstream when you start taking it. You may need to continue with your other painkillers during this time - follow your doctor's advice. It takes a few days to get the drug out of your system when you stop taking it. ---------- What that doesnt tell you, and what my guy did - is that once you start taking them, its like your high literallly 12 hrs a day. You feel the effects all the time. I;m getting 90 of the suckers, I can't wait. Anwaysm, back to your 4mg pill - dud I'd find out exactly what the effects are of ingesting it directly. Cause you know....that whole 'dying' thing can really suck. Pease man, have fun.
those are infact Saboxone, bubenorphine is only active IV and subliminaly. If you have no tolerance they will give you a nice affect, but because they have naltrexone in them you can't use any other opiate/opiod for 24-48 hours after the dose. Now naltrexone blocks the affects of opiods, but oddly it dose not do this for bubenophine.
