What does everybody think my friend reccomended the movie to me and I just finished watching it I would like to know if anyone has seen it and if they liked it
i loved it, i thought it was a great movie.....the scene where ed norton stomps the blacks guys face still gives me chills, even thuogh you dont see it..... i think its ed nortons best movie, imo
Edward Norton's best performance since "Primal Fear". It made me a hardcore fan of his. Watch his transformation from a vicious militant skinhead to a vulnerable reformed convict. This film speaks true to life and digs down deep into the cause of racism. It's a masterpiece of modern filmmaking. I love it. On my all time favorite's list.
And the look he bears when the cops order him to stick his hands up. Triumph, victory, sheer and unwilling violence and hatred towards a black man and he feels good about it. This guy is just amazing.
Yeah it's a very good movie. Made me cry but I'm a sucker. lol Edward Norton also looks damn good in this movie
In college, I had to apply this stuff I learned in sociology to a movie that appealed to us. I got a 100 percent on the movie, and it made me understand the entire thing to a t. The moral of the story is about family. How tightly close-knit a family is, and when something happens, it changes them forever. There were three instances in the movie that caused that. American History X is one of my favourite movies, not only because I understand it thoroughly, but because Edward Norton is the best actor ever. He should have gotten an award for it, not just nominated.
I saw the movie last year, and although I don't remember as much as I should have, it was an excellent movie.
