I have never really taken any interest in her before. I really dont like pop music but damn... I saw her on Live8 and she got my attention. Then I watched a madonna marathon the other day and I was kinda impressed. I dunno i think im turning gay haha but i wanted to know what you guys thought about her? Im kinda ashamed but i think shes cool.
And i do very well know that most gay guys do not like madonna im just playing into the hands of that mad old bad old media and the stereotypes the make. you mad old bad old media! dont do it!
Thats the point of this thread exactly. I consider myself a very rounded music fan, and i just dont understand why madonna fascinated me, because by all accounts she shouldnt have. shes the epitomy of mainstream pop i mean she pretty much invented it. And thats a bad thing.

It seems totally unfathomable that a male has to apologize for liking a female singer because the world might think that he is gay. I'm sure when men in the 40s said they liked Sinatra or in the 50s when they said they liked Mathis, that people didn't think they were gay. Anyway, I don't listen to music anymore. Gave up long ago in the mid-80s. Only song of hers that I had heard that I kind of liked was MATERIAL GIRL. It is the embodiment of everything I absolutely abhor and I think the lyrics are right on the money.

Yeah I like her because she was pretty ballsy, and i just read a few inteviews and that from the early 90's and she seems like she is not easily disarmed. Yeah. She's hot too. and duncan im apologising for liking her because she is mainstream pop, not because she is a female. I couldnt give a flying fuck if the world thought i wass gay. id glady rock a madonna shirt. no doubt.
