    ugggh..Manson was never a hippie, followers has been, but he was a millenial cultleader sort of personality.
    and there is no "Kicking out" it is a self-identified subculture. You could get tossed out of the pad, off the commune or thrown out of the venue, but there are no hippy police.

    How funny! Hippy's being ousted by hippy's! Drummin mama is right. Manson formed a commune to suck innocent and lost people in. People who just wanted love and family. He brain washed them into believing he was a prophet. He was and still is an evil man. There is no love or light in him.

    Nixon actually became a underground hippie when he was prez.I've recovered and listened to some of the edited tapes where he asks Spiro to score him some orange barrel.He's now living in Frisco with Abbie Hoffman where they're advocates for that gay marriage thing.He says he's sorry about Cambodia.He blames it on the drugs,but i think it was the wine.

    aren't we as hippies supposed to love everybody and this will then fill up their empty shells with love and somebody told me after that if they don't let the love in or out. then its jesus' job to beat them up and punish them and so its not our job to judge people as being evil

    God must have made evil for a reason and so why judge it?

    God didn't create evil.
    Evil (or darkness) is being seperated from God (if you do so beleive in one) or Love.

    hippies aren't "supposed" to do anything. You're falling into the stereotyping crap that our society puts on us.

    If you think that love will fill up thier empty shells, then that's cool, but nobody else is supposed to just because of some label people place on them.

    I didn't say evil, a diff poster did. I said "cold and empty."
    And McVeigh was up close observation. ( i was in the jail getting the night's police reports when they brought him out to a car for moving, probably the flight to Denver for trial. the deputies screamed at me for being in the hallway --so have someone up front like they are supposed to be?!?!?)

    If you are asking about the power of love to change people, that was proven to be of limited use.
    Changing a consciousness must be DONE in love.
    Jesus' job? Man's been dead 2000 years. Let him rest.
