A friend of mine recently obtained a moderate supply of codeine. This guy, in my opinion, is not quite the brightest crayon in the box, but he has a good heart, so we love him regardless... Anyways, he asked me about doing a cold water extraction on some T3's, so I explained how it worked, but I also sent him to erowid.org so he would know what he was getting into. Well, he finally did what appears to be a successful extract (I really have no idea what it would look like b/c opiates tend to invoke the holy ghost of the porcelain god for me, thus causing me to thust myself before the throne and leave offerings over the coarse of the next day). His extract was somewhat cloudy... then it was crystaline (powder I'm guessing)... and then he had the wonderful idea to snort the shit. He claims it worked like a charm, but considering the aceteminophen/aspirin content of the pill, not to mention the ineffectiveness of snorting most pharms.... I'm wondering if this story would even be plausible in the first place... I mean... t3's have 30mgs of codeine and 300-365mgs of either aspirin or "tylenol" on in them... 10mgs of adderall up the nose will usually give an inexperienced user a nice lil' buzz, but codeine seems more ellusive to me for some reason... perhaps I'm completely wrong though. I do hear, however, that codeine can cause fluids to build up in the lungs if it is applied through an IV... so could snorting that mess do the same thing to his lungs? Has anyone else been brave/stupid enough to try this method? If so, I'd love to hear what your experiences were like because I just don't see that method working like he said it did and it not being something that everyone and their cousin on the street is doing whenever you read about codeine experiements...
I did the same thing - except with Hydrocodone (like 2-3 times stronger than codeine). http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106160 When you do the extraction you really do lose well over (guestimation) 85% of the Tylenol - as an amateur that is. Once you know what the hell youre doing and get the right tools to so it, I gaurantee (sp?) that youre left with less than 10% of the Tylenol. (Depending on whether or not youre a junky and decide to put the Tylenol pulp into a napkin and squeeze the juice out. It can be a long process, but the process you chose is up to you. Suggest these to your friend, coming from someone whoes done this shit tons. (1) Drinking just the extracted codeine from how it looks in the glass (with an acceptable level of Tylenol in there) is a good way to get fucked up fast. The codeine gets absorbs really quickly and you feel the effects come on like a rush - this is probably the closest you can come to injecting the stuff (dont inject anything ever). (2) Go to that link above, and get an eye dropper from a pharmacy. This time, as you do the extraction - wait much longer for the 'cloud' to settle. Then every 30 min or so, go and *carefully* extract the good liquid from the glass. Dont get greedy. If you even get a tiny bit of Tylenol in your sropper, squirt it back out and refill with more ice water. Keep doing this process till its is no longer possible to exctract any of the 'pure codeine' from the glass... Now, find a *large* glass surface (it must be large because it has to hold all of the extracted codeine liquid on it's surface without it having any chance of spilling (I used a glass side table with a ~1 foot radius) . Clean it ahead of time too with light soap and water just so theres no dust etc contamination.) Take the eye dropper and squirt out one full dropper's worth of liquid at different spots on the glass. Pretend theyre like pancakes, lol. Keep them far enough away from eachother so they cant touch but close enough so that you dont run out of room. As long as your table is level, you can place 3-4 droppers worth centered on the table. Now to save yourselves like 2 days of waiting while dust falls all over the juice youve just made - get a hair dryer and put it on its lowest setting. Evenetually youll get bored and turn it up to medium or high - but if you do, make SURE you are holding it far away from the liquid - too much heat destroys codeine. Anyways - once its been completey dried, grab a razor and scrap it up - you'll end up with a nice pile of almost pure codeine. Heres the part of option (2) I was really getting to - you could then choose to snort some of. Start with a *very* small amount, you have to realize this is potent shit - start slow and once your body adjusts you can do a little more at a time. I seriously doubt you'll finish it all. The downside to this option is the effects dont last as long as injesting it in option 1 or 2. (3) You do the same as option (2) except you buy some empty gelcaps online or find something at a pharmacy that uses a gelcap that is over the counter, and empty - then fill with equal parts of the extracted codeine. Swallow that and - yes I'm being serious, take a small dose of Tylenol or Advil (Advil comes in 200mg I think). Believe it or not, the reason they put those two meds together is because they work together to make you feel better. I've never tried option 3, but writing this makes me want to now lol. Codeine is not active intranasilly, if your looking to snort some pharmaceuticals try some Oxycodone or Hydrocodone. If your freinds claims that snorting codeine works, hes wrong.
Codiene has to be transferd into the norotic morphine while in your blood stream, meaning you must take it oraly, when snorted it will only make your nose hurt.
