Well, it was funny because the radio DJ was hyping it up, and when it came on, it was just your typical rock 'n' roll song...nothing special at all. Them charging up to $500 dollars for a damn concert isn't cool, either.
This song had a lot of hype, even more than "Lyla," and it was far, far worse than any of the bad songs from Don't Believe the Truth. I wasn't expecting anything different.
It may not be my cup of tea anymore, but they still deserve respect for going on so long. Times have changed and so has thier music. There's nothing wrong with that. Just because you don't happen to like it, doesn't mean they aren't musically talented.
jump around like jagger and maintain the vocals at 60+, act (or be) stoned and still produce great sounds like richards, stay on the drums with the lower lip tucked and co-ordinate with jagger's vocals, keith's and ronnie's strings like watts keep goin after 40 years, producin music and goin on the road ..from beaten up vans to charterin 747s for equipment alone ..! they are and will remain the greatest rock n roll band, EVER
I'm surprised to hear that the stones ahve a new song, and are coming out with a new album! I'll definitely check that out... my 2nd favorite band after all!
I didn't say they weren't musically talented, but enough is enough. Bands that charge $500 for a single ticket to a concert deserve absolutely no respect. It's all about the money with them. Ha, their tour is sponsored by Ameriquest, Cialis, etc. It's pathetic!
it's not the band that decides the price of concert tickets - or to go on tour even. stoney my favorite band is the Beatles
Um...they could stop, right? They could also refuse to allow the ticket prices to be so outrageous, and they could refuse corporate sponsors! Now they have no dignity.
i guess at this point they don't give a fuck anymore... they're too old! maybe they need the $$$ to pay their medical bills....
now that's just 100% untrue. Tickets aren't $500 and if there are tickets out there going for that much, it's by scalpers and the band hates that too. It costs a lot of money to go on tour. That's thier job. They give a lot away, also. It may suck for those who make minimun wage, but it doesn't deserve to be called pathetic.
