Regis, come in for din-din!!!!!!!

If you had the last name of a celebrity, would you ever consider naming your kid that celebrity's first name?

I remember these idiots on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire had the last name Philman, (close to Philbin) and named their kid Regis. Who the fuck would do that to their kid?!? The man is small, loud and bossy. That's poor parenting.

i havent seen that movie in years ...but ya, i wouldnt want my name to be or close to being someone who is really famous. kind of ruin their life, but at least they could always change their name

 

I think I would, only if my last name was Zimmerman, in which case, I would name the child Bobby.

 

depends on the dude. If i named my kid robert, and i was dylan, then it would be cool, but if i named my kid george and i was bush, it'd be fucked up

 

If my last name was Morrison I would name my kid Jim.

As a point of principle I make sure that didn't happen.
Figure the poor buggers will have enough live up to/live down with a mother like me. So don't want to totally scar them.

Far as I know nobody famous has our last name (which btw is Ingram). So that's good.
