Hello. I guess it was nostalgia for some acid that made me come upon this forum. You just can't find that stuff anywhere (at least not where I live). I'm 29, live in upstate NY, married with a baby on the way. I'd rather not say exactly what I do for a living (still a little old fashioned about internet privacy), but it's a 9-5 job that isn't in any way connected with law enforcement. My political views would be libertarian (which wasn't one of the choices on the drop down menu). Anyway, it's nice to be here and hopefully the acid dam will break in the near future. Cheers!
No worries, I'm careful about the internet privacy myself. Especially so because of my "sometimes too open-minded" views towards things. Wecome aboard. -waves-
Hello and welcome here... Free yourself! In a way you are oppressing yourself. It is wonderful to be able to express your private self openly. It is a feeling of freedom. Release the chains of reservation!
Thanks for the words of encouragement about the privacy thing, but it's not anyone directly connected with this forum that I'm concerned about. Anyway, it's a fairly mundane (though not spirit sapping) job that occasionally lends itself well to coming into work baked. In fact, last time I did that I was extremely focused and just got tons of work done. Now that would make an amusing public service announcement: This group of workers is stoned, this one isn't.... kind of like the old Folgers crystals ads. You know how 9 to 5 jobs are. The main trouble is you have to come in for 8 hours even if there's only 2 hours worth of work to do. Thanks for layin' out the welcome mat!
i wouldnt tell everyone on the net what i do or anything real personal...like im a prostitute and I dont tell anyone..
well i agree you have to be careful but i think everyone has the right to express there selves and i will express my self any time i see fit .......... IM FREE
BADSELF i dident say i was bad nomore than your proberly mystical but i do believe in freedom of speech ........hey if you wanna keep those chains on feel free...........
what chains wtf..this isnt a protest, this is THE INTERNET...seriously, all i am saying is people are crazy and most of them post on the internet.. how is telling strangers on a computer liberating????
who said it was a protest?iwas generalizing about freedom of speech i dont think im going to start telling every tom dick and harry on the internet my private details as i have 7 kids i think i am more than aware of the dangers.........i was talking about ones beliefs etc...chill
lol isnt this funny..i told people on here i wsas once arrested for conspracy to shoot the president..& we're livin under bushes reign of terrror....still wont stop me from just being me & being honnest.. ok world..heres what i do..absoluterly nothing!! & i love it there ya go..
As Kramer once said, "I thought we were talkin' about me?" (lol). Seriously, it's always those throwaway lines that get me in trouble. I think we can all agree that being free includes BOTH action (telling what done does for a living) and omitting (not telling what one does for a living). Anyway, let's not get hysterical here. When was the last time everyone here dopped any acid? For me, it'll be 5 years this December. Fuck, that's a long time.
hey now if you can't find any acid you live on the wrong coast it is here for sure i have a vial waiting for a good show unfortunately there is no summer tour of ratdog or phil and friends here in ca better be a banging fall later on peace pam
Uhh, I wasn't trying to be aggressive with my post (maybe a little overly dramatic though). Anyway I think it is a great feeling to be able to be open about everything about onesself and have no reservations. In a way being reserved is distracting by always trying to think what you want to filter out. Almost like trying to remember all of the lies you've told so as not to be found out. It is so easy and feels good to be open about everything and have no reason to hide anything to anyone.
i agree with you feeling groovy i see no reason to hide who i am . you seem like a chilled out sort of guy .
