im 17 and the hairs on my fingers and feet and knees and such are growing white... many of the hairs there are dark but have white stubs. this is not the usual whiteness at the tip of the hair when you pluck it, this whiteness extends up to the whole hairs length in some instances. what could be causing this? the hair on my head is growing fine, and my facial hair is growing more red hairs as i get older. so yeh.. hairs on hands and kneesand feet and such have started growing white (no pigment i guess) im not afraid of this unless it means ive got a disease. i think its pretty funky
Sometimes people go white at an early age. I can think of a handful of people that I knew that went white during high school.
its just on these areas.. its not age change, age change effects head hair before body hair. its isolated to parts, at the moment and not the older parts, the newer parts (duh )
