Will terrorists swallow any of these so called enlightenment drugs? Not likely. The terrorist's spiritual inspiration comes from hardship combined with brain washing from elitists. How often do these elitists sacrifice themselves for their twisted cause? Not often. The lower level terrorists must be made to see this. At the heart of the Woodstock and Dead Sea Scroll Connections, is a message of true friendship and small town neighborliness. Drugs have no role to play in this effort. The longer the world is in the dark about our world-wide-home-town potential the terrorists will just keep coming with bigger and badder means of destruction. The terrorists have no drugs as part of their motivation to kill. The rest of us have no need of drugs as motivation to be kind, understanding and neighborly. Islamic terrorism should be enough motivation in itself to motivate us to do what will be the real solution. Missing suitcase nukes and nuke technology is out there, and terrorists are poised to use these things. But Islamic terrorists are only one of the threats we face, there are the neo-Nazis, N. Korea, and China on the horizon. Drugs will not make them go away. Help me spread the word about these connections. It is in all of our best interests to live as friends.

    Yes.
You are wrong. I learned it from God, although the bible was part of the lesson.
Wrong, you are never alone. When you are 'alone' you have the oppurtunity to perceive God without dealing with other people that you must look at as individual beings.
God does run the world, and apparently you aren't sitting on a nude beach right now.
Spoken like a genious. You know what Richard Feynman said about Brazil not producing physicists even though they had the highest test ratings?
The kids were book smart, could recite back stuff they had read in books but did not know how it applied to real life situations.

Yea, I'm going to stop responding because his responses are just going to get wackier and wackier.

    Oh?

Yes they do. You just haven't recognized the nature of the connection.

Maybe you should question your enlightenment before you respond, rudely, to the illusion that you have been personally affronted.

See? You do have faith. But, of course, one's troubles with reality don't necessarily have to take on such a dramatic form and in such a dramatic venue before you recognize the nature of their illusion.

The knowledge that illusion is almost always grounded in one's own ego is one of the most significant features of enlightenment.

You can do better than that. The question is one for which you should seek a deeper answer.

"And now to grace your insignificant questions with substantial answers... this should be interesting."

Say, that is interesting. Enlightenment and inspiration are ancient companions, and you seem to insist that they have nothing to do with one another. Either you don't find enlightenment all that inspiring, or you don't find inspiration all that enlightening. Either way, maybe there is more for you to understand about both enlightenment and inspiration.

Once again, maybe you should question your enlightenment before you respond, rudely, to the illusion that you have been personally affronted.

And yet again, maybe you should question your enlightenment before you respond, rudely, to the illusion that you have been personally affronted.

Maybe you should learn to see the meaning that is already present, before you replace it with your own.

It is wise to question the reality of your preconceptions. But, rejecting that which does not conform to your preconceptions is not enlightenment. It is nothing more than Nihilism.

Wise words. There is truth here for you to discover.

That is a tangled mess that you are going to have to deal with sooner or later. Please ask for help when (or if) you need it, otherwise I wish you the best of luck. May your every surprise be good.

Actually, a minor third is a specific relationship between a pair of notes. As is a major third, a fourth, a fifth, a seventh, a ninth, etc. Each is unique and each can be "explained" mathematically, psychologically, physiologically, aesthetically, and so on (each of these "ologies" offers singular, valuable insight), but no one of those explanations is inspiration, the essence of music, the voice of the muse. You still haven't earned your first plate of satori.

Yes, of course. But, please, try the good stuff. No more of that artificially-flavored satori substitute that they've sold to you in the less reputable stops along the path.

Once again, rejecting that which does not conform to your preconceptions is not enlightenment. Enlightenment is a conscious response to reality.

    Peace and Love

First, I'll start off by saying this should be the last response I will give you, because you dodge the issue at hand and instead ASSume certain things about me to make yourself sound like a grand philosopher. Your comments have no connection. Not once do you mention your belief on the issue.

What in the hell are you talking about? How many times am I going to have to tell you that this post is about the issue of psychedelics for enlightenment and the people who promote them. You do not mention psychedelics once in your post.

My troubles with reality? ROFL, right pal...

LMFAO! O is it that a significant part of enlightenment? That's funny cause every dam trustafarian who's eaten a dose before knows that.

Yea I could seek all unlimited answers to your vague question to write a book on the forum, but I won't waste my time.

WTF? They are still two separate concepts. The difference between these two is a big one, I guess I must continue to repeat myself. Do you recall you asked if I knew the difference? I responded to you with the difference, and you respond with more empty questions. There is more for you to understand about coherently forming your arguments.

How I respond to you is a direct effect of my aggrivation caused by your nonsensical babbling.

How did I replace any meaning with my own? Your responses are unclear; you said a witty saying which was not all too hard to understand, and what did you think? That I would be absolutely mind-blown, and not know how to comprehend?

What? I reject the god I was raised to believe in because of my enlightenment. Not just for the sake of rejection. Do yourself a favor and lay off assumptions.

The only tangled mess here is you.

Uhhh, I know what intervals are... Thank you captain obvious, the world is a better place because of you. What does this little rant have to do with anything? You hear the sounds and you feel emotions, that's inspiration. I don't know wtf you were trying to get at, but you failed miserably.

What are you talking about!?!!? I never said I reject what doesn't conform to my preconceptions, THAT IS YOUR ASSUMPTION!!

I AM CONSCIOUSLY RESPONDING TO REALITY!

Everything you say just makes me sound more 'enlightened.' Come on, keep digging your grave.

Both of these 2 statements indicate a lack of enlightenment. You still think you have control of that which is around you and in you (you still have an ego). Once your attachment to your personal ego is broken, you are enlightened and will know where the power lies.

omfg... alright buddy go take a ten strip of L then come talk about ego degradation. First of all, you're making more assumptions; I never ONCE say I control my surroundings, because I don't. I said I AM CONSCIOUSLY RESPONDING to the reality around me. Does anyone here know how to read properly? What is with people trying to assume all sorts of outlandish shit, when it's clear that's not what I said. If you're going to try to make me look like a fool, do it right.

Mate ~ you'll find that everyone sees through the lens of their own perception. The problem begins when you credit everyone with clarity of vision (and perception, then it becomes apparent that the vision is distorted or impaired by perceptual deficiencies. It's like some people wear distorted lenses and swear blind that the world is distorted. The religious don't think that have perceptual problems because they can't see the distorted perception through which they view the world. "Hell Bent" is a good description. Or "through a glass darkly!"

:p Been there, done that, many a time.
Do you believe you control what you feel? You respond wildly to the statements of others around you.
Do you see how you reacted to what I said? Why would you react in the way you did if you were enlightened and did not have issues with personal pride? The reason I quoted your statements as indicating a lack of enlightenment was the tone they conveyed. You should watch "Boiling Point" (that TV show).
    No.
What you said is not what matters in this case. What you indicate about yourself by the way in which you respond does.
I cannot make you look like a fool if you are not a fool or willing to play the part of the jester for our amusement.

Why do you react in a defensive manner to slights to your ego if you are enlightened?

The manner in which I respond to you is not defensive, I have nothing to defend against. When people don't make any sense and just keep talking, I get AGGRIVATED. When I say something and you twist my words to say something else I get AGGRIVATED. When I make a statement that proves something, you move on to an irrelevant question. Anybody who is logical is going to become frustrated with those who are illogical.

Umm.... I guess you are not defending what you said with that statement?
Why do you get aggravated if you are enlightened?
Why are you worried about what others take your words to mean if you are enlightened?
A logical enlightened being would not get frustrated with a lesser being. Realise that an unenlightened being who lacks logical coherent thought patterns cannot help being what they are.

I like the direction this has gone in a christian forum none the less...people who understand the illusion and realise how trapped we are in it..2ceswild I suggest you check out the upanishads...read the words of those who have touched beyond the beyond...just because you have taken a lot of acid and tripped your nuts off doesn't mean you have experienced an ego loss...if you've experienced ego loss you would know how little any of us really know ..read the words of those who have made it (buddha, jesus, krishna, rama, muhammed, Lao Tsu to name a few) if you find yourself disagreeing with what they have to say you'll find where you are still stuck...just relax and groove with the flow, its all right here
