I am really getting into Hunter S. Thompson. I like what I'm reading and I plan to read the rest of his books. Would anyone suggest any similar authors? Note: Don't mention anything about Harry Potter. Let's just not go there.
I don't know what he's like but here's something... I have just finished reading Speed of Dark; a book about a fictional character with autism who has a good job but has to face the prejudices of people within his workplace and leisure time. They discover a possible cure for autism but it is only tried on apes so far. Should he try it, as forced by someone higher up at his workplace, or should he and the autistic group fight against it? Amazing read, specially with my line of work and links to ASD. I recommend this to anyone. It's a good book. All seen through the eyes of an autist.
