Heard a song on an advert and dunno what it is.. post it here and let the loverlies of the UK music forum help y out!
Has anyone seen the Peugeot advert? Can anyone tell me what that song is? I heard it a couple of years ago and thought it was class! But I've forgotten!
I tried to get a song identified me on here a while ago. everyone was really crap at it. It turned out to be Layo & Bushwacka vs Kings of Tomorrow - Finally Love Story. I ended up hearing a remix of the original Finally track out in Ibiza and the DJ was able to give me a lead as to what it might be - wasn't completely accurate though as he told me it was by Barbara Tucker. This DJ wasn't really clued up at all in fact as I asked him to play anything by Satoshi Tomiie and he just said that Satoshi Tomiie was the name of an event and not a DJ. This fella was all right at mixing and working a crowd though.
Ironically, someone posted asking for a song on the .org board earlier this week and described it and I knew it to be I Monster - Daydream. Somebody else replied saying they didn't know it but it was on an advert, and I think they meant a Peugeot advert but I'm not sure. Let me know if it's that. If not, can you describe the song at all? Can you transcribe the melody or list the chord progression or write out any of the lyrics you heard? Or perhaps you can mention the instrumentation or production techniques on the song?
That is odd! Aye it is the Peugot advert as I made sure I took it in last night.. the lyrics go... 'here it comes x5 to blow away all you reason and your sin.. in your little mind'
ah, that's not the same song then. Do you have any details apart from the lyrics? I'll see what i can find anyway.
Aha. you know i pity you for not having access to google. Just typed the lyrics in and it came up with the song on the first listed result. It's called La Breeze and it's by Simian

use the inverted commas when you type in your search - then you're searching for the whole line and not just the words individually.

i dunno if anyones ever seen empire records, its a alright film. but theres a song on that that isnt on the sound track. it goes can you tell me whats real, in this world can you tell me whats real, cus i dont know. wicked song anyway. but i was fucked if i could find anything out about it. but after much research is was the title track from a band called real, so the track was called real too. just posted this incase anyone else has had trouble finding it(i had to email the band to find out what it was called) also if youve got a copy could u send me it as mp3? cus i was too tight to by the album cus im pretty sure id hate the rest of it. p.s the song is playing when warren is tryin to pick the glued coins off the carpet.
