When humidity strikes, my hair goes wild. even when i try to style it or anything, i step outside and *vzzrooop* my hair statics up.
    anyone have any tips?
i've tried alot of antifrizz products but most of them don't generally work.

Yup, my hair is frizzier than a mohair jumper! I'm two weeks into dreading my hair and the frizz is out of this world! Oh well, who cares what people think - they're all jealous anyway. Lol!

i've thought about dreading my hair alot of times. I dont think I would look half bad with them in, It just seems to much of a hassle to me. That and alot of places here probably wouldn't hire me or take me seriously when I went to apply for jobs with dreads in:p

haha....I'm a perpetual frizzball, and i've pretty much given up on making it behave. Interesting thing is, though, that the less stuff and effort I put in it, the better it seems to look. And on the days it absolutely won't behave, I just pull it back and pretend like it doesn't exist!

if anyone else finds anything that works really well for frizz- taming, though, let me know!

haha... my dreads are super frizzy, but they look good that way.

honestly, they were a bit of hard work at first, but I don't do anything with them now

If you already have a job, they can't fire you for it. I would probably ditch them if I needed to look for a new one.

Before I had them when it was humid my hair would stick out like I climbed out of the dryer. All I could do was use expensive anti-frizz cream. I can't say it helped that much.

I've got the frizzy hair gene too. The best thing to do is just to keep your hair super healthy. I'm talking leave in conditioners, deep conditioners, banana masques. When my hair was longer, it would do olive oil treatments on it once every 2 weeks.

But even then, the frizz still comes. No point fighting it on those days, because you won't win! Stick a hat on, pull it back in a ponytail, or braid... or just embrass the frizz as I am today. haha!

    argh, yes the frizz..
my hair is frizz, especially when i wake up in the mornings...or if I brush it.
When i brush my curls they go all weird and sort of booof and about 5 times their normal height, i look like krusty the clown (only not quite so green haired)

even ponytails don't really help, the top part still frizzes. ah well, can't be helped i guess.

i don't ever brush my hair...creates an unmanageable amount of frizz. Haven't touched a brush to my hair for more than two months actually, and I can count on two hands the number of times I brushed it in the year before that!

lol, sounds familiar. I last brushed my hair with a hair brush maybe two years ago, and i've never owned a hair brush. My curls cannot handle. all i can do is use a wide tooth comb in the shower when i have conditioner or a deep hair masque in.

The pictures in my gallery are my hair at it's least frizzy, when it's freshly showered and treated and stuff...but oh man, some mornings when i wake up i find that i no longer have hair, i just have acres of fuzz :)

white beauty standards teach that stick straight hair is the move. i disagree. open your mind. love your frizz.

To 'ease' the Frizz, you might try using some JoJoba Oil. You can google some places to find the pure oil itself in your area.
Take a fine mist spray bottle<: Fill it 2/3 up with water. Add two tablespoons of the JoJoba Oil shake several times brfore each application and spritz on your hair. Smooth down hair lightly with your hands.
    Hope this helps.
    Blessed Be

I have extremely frizzy hair, and to make it worse it's also impossibly thick and wavy. I used to use Bed Head Control Freak and that worked alright. I don't use anything now because everything seems to bother my sensitive skin. I usually just tie it back when it's still wet, but on occasion I let it fly free in all it's frizzy goodness.

I'm definitely Queen of the Frizzies and I've tried everything to help tame it, but it has a mind of its own.
I'd rather it be the way it is than spending hours trying to straighten it (which I used to).
My hair is what it is.
