I've recently started donating my empty inkjet cartridges to The Nature Conservancy. I used to throw them away until I heard of this web site: http://www.donateempties.com. You can also donate to a few other charities. You just print a label at the site and mail in your cartridges free of charge. Everybody wins!

I've been doing that for a while, there's a place near where I live that collects that sort of thing to recycle.

I've always thrown mine away. Personally I dont really care. But one question........

If your printer cartridge is empty, how do you print out a label if you haven't went to get another one yet?

I give my empty printer cartridges to homeless people -- and by "give," I mean "throw at." I also "give" them rocks and empty whiskey bottles if they congregate in the alley behind my office, stinkin up the place.

empty ones would work for gettin rid of homeless ppl...... I never thought of that before. I always waste good things on them, like staplers, paperweights, keyboards, sometimes tv's and computer monitors. But that shit gets expensive. maybe this recycling thing isn't as hard as I though....hmmmmmmm
