Mushroom skirt & Flower Pants

    This skirt was made on my brand new sewing machine!!! YAY

    and these pants were finished up on it

    the machine threads its self winds the bobbin all by its self and even cuts my thread at the end of all seams

    I am in love with it!

    Man, that sounds awesome; I'm jealous too. The mushroom skirt and daisy pants are groovy. :D

    wow! that stuff is AWESOME!!

    yay for the new machine!! all i have is an old singer.... does the trick though... self winding bobbin... i sure wish i had that!!!

    the material for the pants was some weird shiney parachute feelin stuff from wal marts $1 table =) it feels good but you cant iron it LOL or they will melt

    oh, crap, It looks like you got Silnylon!!!!! I HATE Wal*Mart, but I heard that you can get silnylon there for a bua yard, so I hit mine up and they don't have any... Basically, It's 1.1oz (pey yard) ripstop nylon that is impregnated with silicon to make it water proof.... It's EXCELLENT for hikinh gear (tents, backpacks) because it's lightweight and waterproof. I FINALLY ordered some from out west (10 yard minimum at $2.75 a yard + $5 cutting fee + $13 shipping), it was "seconds" quality but I found it flawless... Kinda expensive, but I made 2 tents, 2 stuff sacks, a backpack and have a yard or so left over. It's slippery as hell to sew!!!!
