Helen Thomas Threatens Suicide if V.P. Cheney Annouces Pres. Bid

She must be suffering serious depression if she makes this kind of threat this early in the game. There's 3 years to go before the election, and at least 6 months, maybe a year, before the campaigning starts.

Kind of an empty threat. V.P. Cheney already announced he will not run for Pres. in 08. Not since 1952 has neither the incumbent Pres. or V.P. ran for President.

Sort of makes me wonder why she made the statement in the first place.

 

And I should care why?
