I've been taking Clarinex for the last 2 or 3 weeks, and I've gained about 5 or more pounds. Could the Clarinex have caused the weight gain? Over the last week or so I've struggled with extreme fatigue as well, probably from being sluggish from all the weight gain.
I'm a Med school dropout take me with a grain of salt, my discipline was pharmacology and still is an inspiration...blablabla. The clarinex in itself is not causing a weight gain, chemicals act different sometimes to extremes in all individuals, our chemical makeups as humans are often similar but just as often fundamentally different. The way your own chemical makeup is reacting, eg: remarkable sluggishness, is causing a secondary side-effect. Meaning the drug is not causing a weight gain but the side effect your individual chemistry is experiencing is aiding in a weight gain. Does that make any sense?
Yeah it does. I've already stopped taking the Clarinex, I hope my body can get back to normal and "catch up" and hopefully get rid of some of this weight it gained. Thanks for the responses, everyone!
