I'm listening to The Celebration of the Lizard at the moment... Jimmy liked reptiles: lizards and serpents. And yes, Jim rules !!!

He was drunk and fucked up as always, and in his small, deranged mind he actually thought that he was a lizerd king. Stupid drunken talentless bafoon.

to call jim morrison a "stupid drunken talentless bufoon" is soooo cliched. why dont you come up with some ideas of your own instead of ripping off 70s rock critics.

From what I know he just loved lizards, like in the end he metions snakes. I read No one Here Gets Out Alive not that long ago and from what I remember those were the only reasons the authors gave. But maybe only Jim knows the really reason, who knows.

I think he was high or something and just started yelling out "I am the lizard king, I can do anything" The lizard is also a symbol of the devil and evil, so he might have been intrigued by that too.

It's ok not to like someone, but why do you hate Jim so much? :(

I just saw The Doors of the 21st Century (D21C) last night here in my town, and it was a fantastic show! Ian Astbury must be channeling Jim Morrison or something, and Ray and Robbie are better at their instruments then ever.

I think jim morrison got so drunk, he liked to expose his lizard in his pants.... so he was crowned THE LIZARD KING.
