Would prefer to travel with another person, particularly a female artist or photographer from TX to the Northwest near the end of July. Please email as I am already packed & just finishing things up. I have an extended art gig in Seattle. Contribute what you can, fuel, healthy food, camping equipment, whatever. I have air conditioning & a cell phone & am pretty handy around mechanical stuff, but would like to have someone along to enjoy the nature & maybe stop & paint. Space is limited so I don't think it's good for kids, especially the heat. I speak different languages, so that should be no problem. French, Italian, Spanish, Thai, English, yada yada... iPod or CD player is good. You can ignore some of my other postings as they are mainly theatre of the absurd. I was gonna go with my buddy but he got a museum gig at the last moment so I'm taking my time. Space at their house is limited, unless the situation changes. PS: I also have an equilizer hitch, in case you have a small utility trailer, but I have pulled travel trailers & don't ever want to do it again. Email pls
I'll cover the wheels & gas. I just want somebody to talk to. (Or I can yak myself to death on the cell phone.) Basically there's one empty seat & not much room for much more stuff. Maybe your backpack & a sleeping bag, tents. I also have some food & cook stove. But I'm moving, so it's fairly full. The air is working but I think I'll wait out this heat wave. You could be in one of the states along the way. Also, the traditional caravaning idea also comes to mind. That way everyone has their own space & if somebody needs help, there's someone there. My bro & wifey did it across the states but they bought two walkie-talkies which went well.
A good idea whose time will come when it cools down. One seat & not a lot of space. But camping equipment is welcome. And a laptop w/ wi-fi.
Where are you leaving from? How long do you expect to take? I don't mind a nice leisurely jaunt but I've been on a few 'three hour tours' and don't wish to relive that.
