my girlfriend and i have the whole night together tonight. we might end up in the shower or bath or somthing. is it ok to wear a condom in the shower or bath. is the hot water going to ruin the latex? the only condoms we have are lubricated. is that ok for water? we arent going to have sex or anything in the water but i want to be carful with my penis exposed. could we have sex in the shower with a condom if we wanted to? i know we cant in a bath or hot tub, but what about standing in the shower( remember this is with a condom on)
I've never heard anything about water ruining a condom.. I guess in something like a hot tub you might have a problem, but I wouldn't know for certain. Some lubricants may damage latex (condom). If the condoms are already lubricated obviously that won't be a problem.
Water can easily wash away natural lubrication, so that could make the condom easier to break. Plus, chlorine will break down the latex if thats what you're gonna do(in a hot tub or pool). With a lubricated condom standing up in a shower, I really don't think you'll have a problem.
