I agree, army of darkness is an awesome movie. Seen it a million times. I have actually met Bruce Campbell a few years ago at a book signing in a movie theater. He is a pretty awesome guy. And both the evil dead movies are great too. The cheesyness is what makes those movies so awesome.

That's awesome, Berries! :) I met Bruce Campbell at a horror convention in Philly a few years back. He was super nice and a real treat to meet.

I heard they're remaking Evil Dead -- not with Bruce. But supposedly Sam Raimi (original director/writer) is overseeing the project.. whatever that means ::shrug::. I myself don't see the point in remaking such an already awesome flick, but I guess the goons in Hollyweird just can't think of anything orginal anymore.

    Could be worse I guess,

Hmm..i didnt know that they were gonna remake it, or thinkin about it anyways. I dont think that anyone could possibly fill the role of ash better then bruce but who knows.. it may be cool, but i doubt it. I will have to check that one out if they do a remake.

Thats awesome that you met him too. when i met him i didnt get to talk to him for long though because the line to meet him was rediculous how long it was. :( But he did talk to the crowed and he is pretty funny too.

I agree hollywood cant think of anything origional anymore. All they really do now is remakes of movies and old tv shows. i just hope that if they do decide to make a remake they dont chop it all up and make it with all digital graphic rather then the makeup and special effects like in the origionals.. but i guess we will see.

Indeed, one of my favourites as well. I'm not a horrormoviefan but the Evil dead movies are great.
