ok, quick question when you major in something you get a bachelors in that thing right? well, do you get a degree in what u minor in...or is that just incase you want to switch majors??? very puzzling, very puzzling indeed
at my university, what you major and minor in is what you get your undergrad in. i major in history, but i also have a minor in english so thats what my bachelors will be in.
well, I have a bachelor's in journalism and an almost minor in comparative religion. I'm hoping to parley that into a post grad drgee, possibly PhD in media criticism and teach at uni: News writing, media /pop culture and religious thought
Im not for sure about other colleges, but I suspect its the same, You need so many Credits for your Major, and then you also need so many credits for your Minor, I plan on Majoring in Marketing, So i have my Set required classes for that, plus many electives i can take, Then i want to Minor in Spanish, And i need 18 Credit hours in spanish classes, once I am done with those credit hours, You pretty much get 2 degrees in a way. Think about your minor as supplimenting your major, Im going into business, and knowing Spanish will help me with a broader range of jobs. Like would perhaps major in Math, but then have a minor in English. She/he would have a better chance at a teacher job if they have comparative skills i would say because they could have a chance to help out in the english department if needed. A few teachers were like that at my school. Just use it to help your major. Gives you more skills.
