I've met a few along the way. We are short in the numbers though.

Not knowing where "here" is, it's even tougher to point you in the right direction. I'd steer you to places where hip gay men hang. My best general suggestion is to go to places where gay men go and to go where hip men go.

Any drumming circles in your area? Vegetarian restaurants? Into the arts? If not, think about visiting the nearest reasonably hip city or town.

I'm also in Ohio, and I've asked the same question many, many, many times. We're a very small minority.

Try RFD magazine. They've got plenty of resources about radical faeries. They have some contact ads in the magazine or on the Web site. Go to www.rfdmag.org

When I've asked the same question, I've been told to check out Starwood. It's a pagan festival that gets plenty of gay folks. The annual festival is in July, so the good news is that you have plenty of time to get more info and make plans. The bad news is that you have to wait nearly a year.

    Check out www.rosencomet.org/starwood

I haven't met too many either, especially in my age group .. mid to late 40's. Most seem to like sitting at home and watching Golden Girls or some such shit.

I like going to six flags and riding coasters and such, most my age don't want to "I did that when I was younger" or "I don't care for them now" is the response I usually get. I like to work out, I like to try new things, hell I've gotten into 3D graphics which is dominated by young twenty somethings. I guess they "act their age". I'd like to find a guy that isn't already "retired" and just waiting out time.
