RODGER CORSER: WAS PETER JOHNSON Rodger is one past star who made a huge impact on fans of the show in the role of Peter Johnson. His character was either loved or hated and his time on the show was definitely memorable. From the charming romancer of Claire to the dirty two timing bastard who broke her heart; most fans were not disappointed to see the end of him in Season 2. Of course Rodger couldn't be more different than Peter and he remains a bright star in the Australian entertainment industry. His big break came when he won the role of Rodger in the Australia production of RENT. According to Christine Anu's Official website as a relative unknown his audition was not exactly going to plan but when he hit a perfect A flat that was needed for the role of Rodger there was no looking back! He played opposite Christine Anu in RENT and the pair hit it off and in 2002 Christine gave birth to their first child, a daughter Zipporah. While music is probably Rodger's first love he continues to build on his acting with appearances in WATER RATS & STINGERS. In 2004 will reprise his role on STINGERS from 2003 when he played Detective Senior Constable Karl De Groot. McLeod's Daughters fans were not surprised to hear Rodger will be back in 2004. His character, Peter Johnson, shows up following the death of Claire to fight Tess for custody of Charlotte.
