yeah so they found my stuff. they found my 3 lighters, my tobacco, rolling machine, papers,weed, glass pipe,matches...they got almost all of it. *sigh* we had a big discussion about it. in a nutshell they are just very disapointed. they think im a smart kid so they were surprised. i told them i have a different philosophy about marijuana and they understand that but i didnt bother trying to reason with them because it woudlnt have worked out. they are real conservative and all that so it would have never worked out trying to argue. i dont really have a punishment. i cant go out tonight but im sure thats about it. i wish they understood how i felt about it. they dont understand why i do the things i do. i didnt start doing weed because i wanted to be bad or something. i didnt start because i wanted to make up for something else in my life that was missing. Marijuana has only done the same thing for me as it has for the millions of othert kids who do it, so i dont see a reason for stopping. ill just have to keep it seperated from my relationship with them. thats reasonable right? happy smoke!
wow sounds close to the exact same thing that happened to me... basically u haev lost all trust for a long time.. thats would be the worst part.. also expect ur folks to be weary of ur friends
If they don't just flat out call your friends parents and tell them they busted you, just for them to be aware.(Thats what my parents did)
excpect this; parents asking you if you are stoned & going so far as to smell you not being allowed to hangout with certain kids tips; don't eat a ton of food when you first get home, buy visine (if you don't already have some) & don't always go straight to yer room & light an inscense (unless that's what you usually do) this usually works for me well good luck & have fun
that sucks, i would say spread your things out so they dont find everything in one spot, but i keep all of mine in the same spot too. Even if you tried to explain your "reasoning" with your parents i dont think it would matter, but not because they wouldnt understand. Most grownups realize how different pot is these days and they think it could easily be laced with shit. its probably true in a few cases, but i suspect its not big enough of a problem to even worry about. But, thats what my parents main issue was. Now why they were mad when they found me growing my own pure marijuana a few weeks later... who knows? .
well good luck with all of that yeah you might not be able to change how they feel about smoking but I think you should probably talk to them a lil' about marijuana so they know it's not as dangerous as TV says, and let them know that you use it responsibly (even if you don't)
I have something to add....Don't make your parents think that you are doing anything else suspicious i.e. drinking, stealing, sex etc. That way they won't have a reason to snoop. Also, from personal experience, don't hop in the shower every time you come home stoned because you think you smell like weed. Chances are, unless you've been hot-boxin it, you don't smell. Weed smoke doesn't really adhere to clothing or hair as well as cigarettes or crack.
The caps just led me to believe that you were about to open up on her...but yeah, you're right it ws a pretty extreme example...

same thing happened to me but my mum isnt too smart, or shes just kind she took my bowl that was in the same spot as my weed and left the weed, so thats pretty cool, but yeah they will ask who your hanging out with, and they will probably want you to really KNOW your friends...Pretty much you lost the trust for a little, depending on your parents it could be for a while, with me it was only a few days.. but i wish you the best of luck, these things happen everyday so don't worry people have had the same problems as you and gotten through them.
Same thing happend to me... but they just took my stash, and lectured me... I told them to basicly fuck off and let me make my own decisions, and they KINDA agreed... they still got my stash tho... hmm... I wonder... lol Ok, IF you come home from smokin... you dont smell like weed, trust me... the 2 key things are... a) Breath and b) Eyes.... breath mints and some visine, like 5 bucks... and will save your ass. Most kids get caught on suspicion cuz they are going to the extreme in trying to cover up their tracks (ex: Spraying Axe all around their room, lighting incense all the time, taking showers every time they come home, making planned excuses when the parents asks wtf... etc) Good Luck man
