What is Meant by Religious Rights The Church in each place must be free to define the mission it believes it has received from God. Likewise, individual Christians and other believers must be free to practice their faith in whatever manner they believe necessary, commensurate with their not violating the same freedom of others. In addition, we affirm the understanding of religious freedom embodied in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and other international covenants. While some actions taken in the name of religious rights may be ambiguous and will have to be addressed on a case-by-case basis, we believe that religious rights include at least the following: Every person has the right to determine his or her own faith and creed according to conscience. Every person has the right to the privacy of his belief, to express his religious beliefs in worship, teaching, and practice, and to proclaim the implications of his beliefs for relationships in a social or political community. Every person has the right to associate with others and to organize with them for religious purposes. Guess I went off on a roll lately with them,huh? Well some from here seem to forget what they are....calling each other names, saying they shouldn't be allowed to post in certain threads...insulting them for believing in something different then they do. Some forget that USA citizens have they right to believe in ANY religion they want even if it's different or disagrees with other members. We also have the right to decide not to have any religion at all if we don't want one. Basically free speech & freedom of religion is sorta what got all those silly "whats a hippy" threads going this last week. and I was sorta getting so tired of reading new posts on why someone thought someone else wasn't a hippy all because of trival stuff.

Maybe hippies in the 60's who proticiapated in protests, sit-ins & other things were HUGE fans of the 1st amendment also.

And of course Article 16 is probably my least favorite...invoking income tax for the first time in the early 1900's....a 1/4 of my fucking salary automatically vanishes because of the passage of this bill.
I have not filed income taxes for a few yrs...April 15th is just another day, and not cuz I haven't had a job either...I worked at a hospital, domino's pizza & a nursing home.
Until the taxman comes your way.... heh heh There's always ways around the taxman but I work for a company that keeps the books straight now. Doesn't affect the cash side jobs though...@_@

Fine they would owe me money, they only care if you owe them money...or if they ever put me in jail for not filing taxes (which is unconstitutional anyways) they would have to feed & clothe the kids in some way.

not really, but seeing as the last couple times I filed I didn't get any of it cuz it went to pay back student loans...(which kept increasing even after they garnished my wages for 6 months to pay it) and the last time my ex filed, they didn't believe it when he wrote how many dependence he had living with him. (the kids sorta bounced back & forth alot and I guess IRS couldn't keep up with the soap opera)He had a hassle with IRS for 1 whole year & now neither of us filed last year. Like I said Govenment don't care if they owe you money...they have nothing to gain by forcing me to file.
