man i missed him when he played brighton i sooo wanted to go. im glad you enjoyed it though.

 

hes playing other places in england in august like leeds london etc you should see if any venues are near you

 

i used to love devendra banhart, infact i adored him since his first album oh me oh my

but....any serious artist, as he proclaims to be, that does any sort of advert is merely a scum sucking capitolist wanker...anyone that sells there art in the name of corperate bollocks is serious deluded, art isnt corperate, moreover art shouldnt be corperate

cheese adverts or otherwise.

dont get me wrong im not a hardcore communist or anything, just think that artistic integraty deminishes with the corperate world

 

i dont really agree with that sort of thing but i mean hes got to pay the bills and all that

 

thats just a cop out, any artist worth his integrety doesnt allow himself or his art to push commerial products

its sad, cos he really is a wonderful artist
