Downloading

Do you belive in downloading? i prefer buying the album, it makes me feel like im worthy to call myself a fan. if i only like 1 song on a album i download though. So im going to say yes to downloading.

 

Ill download the album to see if i like it and then most times ill go out and buy it to support the band.

ummm do u actually think your supporting the band buying CD's from like Music World/A&B Sound/best buy etc.?

the artists are getting NOTHING from u buying it from there, if anything they are gaining more support from u Dling the music because at least u can share it with friends etc.

any artists i want to support i will order it directly from their site, or wont get it at all.

 

Unless I really like an album, I'll probably just download it

 

How in the hell are you supposed to know if there's only one good song on the album if you haven't heard it all already?

I can't DL anymore, seeing as how I have no internet, but the library suits me just fine. :H

 

I'm not saying that i feel like im supporting the artist, i feel like more of a fan. Also better sound quality, thats y i prefer to buy records over CD's.

 

It depends. If it's an independent band,something lesser known,I will dowload a few tracks..then if I like it,I buy their album.
With most music though...I don't really care,maybe it's wrong but I don't. Especially if I have bought their albums in the past.

 

I've bought some albums after having downloaded them before, just to own the actual CD. Actually, I'd often even buy it in Vinyl, because then I get a bigger case and it differs more from the mp3.

I download. Occasionally I will actually buy an album. There are few bands that I actually like every song on the cd. So, I download and burn some songs onto a cd.

 

I prefer buying the CDs because I like having a large CD collection. but I download stuff from bands just to check them out and I also make a few mix CDs.

 

I prefer buying the album but i like to listen to something while i sit by the computer.

 

I almost always download things, if I really like a CD I will buy it. As far as supporting the band, if you want to support a band go see them live, thats where bands make cash.

 

I download quite a lot, but I also buy a lot. And the stuff that I download are usually things that I normally wouldn't buy. I mean, I don't have the money to buy everything I like, so I think I'm not doing anything bad by downloading. I'm against people downloading everything, and buying nothing, though.

 

I think all music should be free. None of it should be about money, becuase thats when MTV gets ahold of it. Fuck Metallica, Free Music. that should be on a tee shirt or coffee mug.

 

Yeah, the vinyls around here are cheap as hell. :sunglasse

Now if only I could find a working record player.
