I'm asked to believe all people are the same because they're all the same on the "inside"


even though black people have a gene for more pigmentation, and stupid people are either physically stupid or have chosen to be stupid (which is still arguably physicly stupid because there are chemicals and other components that are "mechanical" in nature that match our thoughts)

you get people to stop teaching that people are the same and I'll stop saying that everything is the same because equations that have been proven right say so......

Well, I would agree. I think instead of interpreting a similarity in basic structure as evidence that we're all the same, I think it could be more useful to look at it as an arguement for equality, that we all share common ground, and although our differences do exist and make us unique human beings, our similarities remain overwhelming.

I certainly believe in merit and would even rather live in a pure meritocracy as far as beings are concerned, but look at e=mc(2) it says it right there, mass is energy


and everything that is matter has mass

you are energy


that being said people are a great deal more than the sum of their parts in my opinion,

but everything is energy, that is the nature of this universe, everything being energy that means that on some level everything is the same....

 

But the flesh of my toe is different than the fiber of my carpet. They can't come from exactly the same thing. You can't mix exactly the same ingredients together and come out with different results.

I'm generally not good at grasping such abstract ideas. I only got my hands on one book about Einstein's Relativiy theories, etc. this summer, but it was so outdated, finishing it was pointless.

 

yeah you can, if I had the right device I could take enough energy, turn into quarks and things, turn those into carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, calcium and whatnot else atoms and I could build a human body.

with that same energy I could build quarks, atoms, molecules, and then carpet


it's all the same, didn't you pay attention in chemistry? most of you is carbon, same shit as diamonds and graphite and coal

it's all elements,

all elements are atoms

all atoms are electrons protons and neurtons

etc.

we are in a physical sense the same as a piece of rock or a piano, just a different amount and configured differently........

No, I was not successful. Ahahahahaa...

Besides, the only thing I was taught on e=mc(2) (I can't find a symbol either) was in the seventh grade, because my crazy hippy teacher wanted to tell us all about her ultimate fantasy of turning into energy.

 

I don't want to turn to energy, I want to be able yo convert other things to energy and back..... or not..... that would be awesome power......

 

I had a teacher like that for Bio and Chem, last year.

 

The only Baroque I like is J.S. Bach.

i was never a fa of the baroque period, but i can make time for purcell. I like the romantic period though
