If the plant gets a bit stressed...leaves yellowing, falling, drying, etc.,...should I go ahead and harvest if the plant is at it's "seed breeders" recommended harvest time period?

In other words, if a plant starts to die due to the sun/weather stress, can I harvest it safely...or has irreversible degredation started?

Yeah don't let it die thats for sure. Usually plants do use up the nutrients in the bigger shade leaves as they get close to harvest..
How do the trichromes look? if cloudy and the plant is suffering Id say yank it.
If they are more clearish- and your just losing lower shade leaves let it go awhile more.
hard to say without a pic though.
Amber trichromes means the thc is degrading to cbd...

I pulled it. I left it today (outside) and wouldn't you know...after weeks of mega-sun it decided to rain. Plant was looking rather stressed...so...

Trichromes, as of last night, were clear, fairly abundant and the pistils are passed half-way in the light-to-dark scenario.

Like I've mentioned in several posts..."fast learning curve".

    Hey...on another note.

Can seeds be stored safely in the refridgerator?

absolutely. After a drieing period of at least 30 days. In an airtight container with a descicant is best.."IMHO"

Thanks. I don't know if it's airtight....but it's the little tube that I received from the breeder.
No moisture though...but I could throw in those little packs that come in stuff (meant to keep moisture out)

And dried and partially cured mj can be stored in the refer too, as I understand the books I've read, right?

yeah buddy it's one of the best place's to keep it.
Silica gel is reccomended of course.(the little packs)
The seeds contain moisture, this is why grouch says to dry (cure?)the seeds, and yes curing them in a humid enviroment is best.

Thanks. I've got to find where they sell those litttle packs, I keep a few in my camera case but I could use some more.

Moving right along. I live in a high, dry valley..with sun only between 10am and 6:30...and I'm wondering if the sun would be sufficient to put some of the clones in. Although every darn time I think to put them out...I leave...and then it rains like the bugger.
I could use the space in the grow areas. I sorta over-did the scenario and now I'm having to deal with some very large plants (from seeds).
The good news is that the strain..."Chemo X Big Bud" is quite an agressive, bud-producing plant.

    Off to bed.
