hey guys, my mom's being really stubborn and uncool...she's looking at apartments and really likes this whole spread of 2 story type ones - they're actually really nice - but they're SURROUNDED by high tension wires! all around - sometimes you can't tell that they're everywhere due to trees, but they're there, hiding and out in the open too. it's crazy, disgusting, and scary... i thought i'd dissuaded her from entertaining the idea of living there until she did some 'research' and found that they're not bad as long as you're 300 ft. from them. i've tried telling her that the energy of those wires does not suddenly STOP at 300 ft. does anyone know any good rescources for finding accurate info about this? i think it's truly a heinous place to live!
i'm not sure what kind they are, but they're all those electrical wires, grouped together. sorta looks like a huge generator...provides people with electricity for their microwaves and t.v., etc. i really don't know too much about em...i did some research and didn't come up with much.
I've heard anecdotal remarks that living near the high tension wires is "bad", but I have never seen any data to corroborate that. It sounds like you couldn't find any. I wouldn't be concerned. Many people, obviously, live near such wires.
