If I had to wager a guess, I would say that the Guy has some serious issues steming from the fact that he was overweight most his life and had some acne that reached into his adulthood. Because of this, he was probably pick on in highschool, never learnt to properly socialize, and now as a result sits alone in his bedroom (because he still lives with his aging parents) and reads the bible obsessively placing blame on the "sinners" for never really liking him. (the rest of us "geeks" just watched Star Trek and skipped the bible flogging)
