Yay. Barefoot for two months.

Well, except for two days. Once I wore my raver boots. Once I went to a metal show and sort of had to wear shoes. Felt so damn weird.

The other day I walked probably a good six miles barefoot, mostly across asphalt and sidewalk. I have HUGE blisters and burns from the asphalt being so damn hot.

It's worth it, though. I love being barefoot. I put a pair of flip-flops in my bag, for when I go in stores, etc. My friends think I'm crazy.

Random, I know. I just had to post my joy of having happy (though painful) feet.

Your feet will be really tough after those burns heal. Post some pics of your blisters when you get a chance.

 

Now there's a sentence you don't hear often. Congrats toolmag. I didn't notice until just now, but I've been barefoot for a while, too (but I'm at the beach, so it's normal). What an awesome feeling. And it makes you more respectful of what/who you're stepping on.

Good for you,that's awesome....just out of curiosity,did they make you wear shoes at the metal gig? I can understand wearing shoes...especially if you like to get in the pit. Actually,I would definitely recommend wearing shoes lol...

 

No, I definitely CHOSE to wear shoes. I'm ALWAYS in the pit. heh

Good for you! Same here too. Two months straight, easily. But of course, I own my own business, and it's outdoors, and I set the "rules" of how I dress. My clients all seem fine about my bareness.

Some issues still to be settled with some stores, however. This is the first summer I've NOT carried flops to please the stores. I'm determined this will work.

You say your friends say you're crazy---for keeping flops handy for the stores? I'm interested to know what they do---

 

They think I'm crazy for being barefoot.

Well, they're fine with it, they just think I'm a weirdo for not wearing shoes.

"Uh.. dude, where the fuck are your shoes?"
I don't like wearing shoes.
"...Mkay." With the pause and eyebrow raise.

i blistered my feet like you did on hot pavement like two months ago, and they're finally healed up completely. thought i was going to die for a couple of days in there, though.

 

haha congrats!! its been like 4 and 1/2 months for me.. hahah my family understands i'm weird and my friends just try to understand me.. lol

damn grl get us those pics!!! haha nice job! i hate shoes i odnt wear them unless absolutly neccesary, i still have soft feet though cause well im not outside that much unless its raining and 2 i rub tons of hemp lotion on them at night to keep them soft, i love going up in my woods barefoot when its raining and stuff soo fun!

 

Well, it seems batteries must be quite expensive over there!

Oh, chillax. I've been quite busy lately. I dunno if Krissy's gotten new batteries for her camera or not yet.

I went to a reggae festival.. and it was absolutely beautiful. Dancing around in the rain (barefoot, of course)... so much fun.
