haha no the name of this thread should read EMERY FUCKS UP! he knew selling seed's in the usa was illegal, yet he continued doing it. so it was just a matter of time for all he was concerned. gezzz he was a "well known pro-pot activist" "the prince of pot" so he pretty much craved attention, which most people doing anything illegal the last thing they want is attention. he knew the rules to the game going in, he has no 1 to blame but himself. anyone who has recently purchased seeds from his company might want to consider relocating any plants , cause not only did emery fuck it up for himself he fucked up all his customers too.... well that part has been proven yet but they did get his computer's from his home and his work .unless of course he had the foresight an kept those records on a separate comp. the fed's dont know about. myself i dont like to see any 1 get busted but damn use some common sense!

If you had read the links I posted, you would know that Emery Seeds does not keep records of it's customers. The issue here is not about selling pot seeds, it is about a foriegn country violating our soveriegnty. We are capable of policing ourselves, of making our own laws and of justice by our standards.

Amazing how they wouldn't extradite murderers to the USA, and Carolyn Parrish has nothing to say about this - but a guy selling pot seeds is definitely fair game.

    Alright...

    A: I'm pro-legalization, but thats irrelevant.

B: That has nothing to do with Bush.

C: September 10th? Like that wasn't intentional. Whoever thought that up was classy.

D: It's not a soveriegnty issue. Shipping seeds into the USA is breaking US law. We went through a BC court in persuit of a criminal, in full respect to Canadian law. If you want to protest, protest outside the BC court.

Lodui: Two guys from WA killed their parents with softball bats, looted the house, then took off to BC.

    Canada refused to extradite them.

Eventually Canada relented, so long as:

    1) The state wouldn't seek the death penalty or life in prison
    2) The trial would be held in a way Canada saw fit

    etc.

    The hell?

you pretty much answered your own question, alot of countries wont allow their citizens to be extridited for crimes that carry the death penalty or life without parole. the case here with emery is he hasnt fallen into that category. had he just sold seeds in canada he would have never been touched by the d.e.a. proof of that is he has been doing it for 9 years . canada is no safe haven for criminals and it shouldnt be. so guess us americans could easly reply to your "leave canada alone bush" with a "keep your criminal's an their activities on your side of the border" we have enough of our own already!

You are absolutely 100% correct, Slutter. But the conditioned types will never understand this.

Hell, in Canada you can get charged with a "hate crime" just for saying the wrong thing.

I am so sick of people acting like Canada is the beacon of freedom and civil liberties. It's not.

The sentance Marc faces doesn't carry the death penalty (as far as I know) but he does face 10 years to life if extradited to the US. In Canada, no one has been prosecuted of this crime since 1968, and the maximum sentance would be alot less than the minimum 10 years that the US would give him.
If the US wasn't such a political bully, they would have done the right thing by requesting the Canadian government monitor and then curtail Marc Emery's seeds distribution. This isn't a criminal arrest, it's political.
The DEA claims the Marc is one the top 50 drug lords in the world.....he's the only drug lord that I know who has helped start a rehab center for herion and cocaine addicts, the only one who fights for medicinal marajuana patients rights, the only one who provides information to the people about their rights and freedoms. He is a political activist, not a drug lord.
And to respond to your last sentance; fine, we'll keep our marajuana and you keep your guns! Sounds great to me. ;)
