Toronto air crash

all we're hearing over here is that its an air france flight thats gone off the runway. any more info?

 

Toronto news reports: that due to heavy rain and lightening, poor visability for all planes landing at Person had a very hard time seeing the air strips.
In the matter of the plane that went down and caught fire, it was all due to bad weather conditions and everyone made it out safely, Thank God....

 

yea i caught a news update not long after posting.

just hope the weather improves, i'm ment to be landing at that very terminal in just under 4 weeks

 

everyone survived, just minor injuries

weather most def. has improved, was hot and sunny today.....the thunderstorm yesterday was very sporatic

 

nice one, hope it holds til im there (and prefably through my entire trip as well )

Spending a fortnight with my girlfriend We'll be in Toronto every couple of days (she lives in Orangeville)

That's where WEMF was held this year, I didn't go but I've heard the residents we quite unhappy with it.

 

For the British amoung us (IE, me), whats WEMF?

 

It's the World Electonic Music Festival.
Basically a three day event with DJ's from all over the world.

 

tigerlily landed at pearson about 3 hours before the air france plane went down...t'was freaky.
