(Poll) Is a Tam Good or Bad for Dreads?

    if they're made out of wool or hemp they really help with the friction to getting hair really knotty

    They help. Quite a lot. when ever i disslike my roots i'll stick my dreads in a tam for a week and feel much better when i take it off and do a bit of ripping.

    i want a tam, but idk how to wear it haha otherwise i would love to have one!

    i cant find a tam that will stay onl;onger then 20minutes..my dreads are really heavy & just pop out of any tam i've had..i need 1 custom made i think
    but yea they help

    Soaringeagle You need to talk to a few of the serious rasta's. Theones who follow the religion to a t as its (if i remember correctly) not alowed to show your dreads to anyone when you'r a strict rastafarian. So they have those HUUUUUGE tams they wear.
