Yay! Im finally going camping for the first time!

Can't wait. So tell me the joys of your camping.

 

Joys of camping? Nature! You are around nature, and while you have a man-made tent with you, it is mininmal compared to being in a human settlement surrounded by pylons, cars etc. - in other words your further from human interfering with the beauty of nature if your camping in the country somewhere.

You live simplier, and it's relaxing to do so. Sitting round a fire with your camping firends, cooking corn-meal porridge (no woman no cry ), is quite special for me.

Yeah, staring into the fire is the best. To just sit in the middle of the woods and have that glowing, living fire in front of you dancing around, its amazing. If you're camping fairly far from any big cities, the stars are amazing too.

 

its very spiritual as well, especialy backpacking for you become very bonded with your camping buddies, the world around you and especialy yourself, you learn your strengths, your weaknesses and just how you cope. very relaxing as well. a few weeks ago while camping one evening someone busted out a guitar and i busted out my banjo and everyone just started dancing away untl 3 in the morning, no one bugged us about it.

 

Well, unfortunatly I didn't end up going. Ah well theres always the back yard.
