If any of you guys have a modded X-Box download the "Big Ass Emulator Disc" A DVD of every console game ever. NES SNES Sega, NeoGeo etc. somthing like 60,000 games. Great times....

A slew of great games for NES and SNES are available for download at www.emulator-zone.com. They have plenty of great old school games and most of the old system emulators. Right now I have all of the FF's through 6, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, etc. The amount of playable RPG's is astounding. Lately I have been playing Super Punch Out for hours on end. If you are downloading an SNES emulator, make sure you download the ZSNES version. It is by far the best and has like 95% of the SNES games that were made.

 

hell yes! NES is the shit... after reading this i think im gonna have to pull my system back out... i love super mario bros 1&2... 3 was ok but i like 1 and 2 better... tecmo bowl... excite bike... contra... dragon warrior... Zelda... fuckin great... i've just been buying them plug n play games lately from the stores the ones with frogger and mr & mrs pac-man and pole position and digdug... those are fuckin great... i love'em

 

does anyone know what the name of this game is? you are some comic book writer but get sucked into a comic and has to fight these people and little lizards etc.

I love Super Mario! I still play Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and 3 and Super Mario World - with Yoshi! on my old Super Nintendo... lol these games are the best!! I actually don't play new video games. And yes they are great high, the songs actually sound like the best music ever!! hahaha... I'm so stupid and pathetic...

 

can someone help me? i've just rediscovered super mario world on the SNES. i've got to a level and have got no idea how to get past it.

the level is "vanilla dome 1", you come through a pipe, there's a box containing a star. then you jump onto this huge platform and it begins to sink. if it sinks you die because of the lava.

there is no way you can run across it before it sinks.

how do you do it?

 

i'm playing it on emulator (ZSNES). i was just jogging across. you need to run! you use the star to not need to jump over enemies.

if your playing it on ZSNES you hold down 'a' i think.

now just gotta remember how to beat big boo..... if anyone knows please help me!

 

Yeah I just broke out the ol' nintendo 64 and played some super smash brothers. Good shit.

 

Old school is NOT Super Mario Bros.

It isn't Pitfall or Centipede either, though I am nostalgic for it.

Old school is Pong. Spacewar.
