Spinning round and round and round and round

I've recently started spinning pois. They are very fun - I've always believed that at some point in everyone's life they should learn a circus skill (unless they physically can't).

It comes from all this festival going from such a young age - the festival I've always gone to you get kids arrive on the Friday kicking round footballs and they leave on monday morning juggling and spinning diablo. Anyway - I tryed juggling and diablo and also devil sticks but didn't get very far. A friend of mine had some pois and let me have a go and now she's given me her spare pair.

So - anyone else do a circus skill - anything at all?

I just hadda ask, is the title of your thread a reference to that Yes song? Now it's stuck inna my head.


Anyway... true story... I lived right across from the "School of Circus". I'd be lying on my bed, gazing out the window and suddenly I'd see some clown go flying up in the air & back down again. Hilarious!!!! (and sorta creepy)

 

I haven't actually heard any yes in my life.
