can someone help me with this?

ok my scanner's not working. i know the actual scanner works because it made scanner-waking-up noises 5minutes ago. but when i was in PhotoStudio and i went to scan something it said that it could not detect scanner. or that maybe the connection isnt right. but i checked the cords and they're in.

whats the deal?

 

You'll need to install Twain drivers, more than likely.

 

Most likely it's a diver problem you could look under Control Panel \ System then go to your device manager and look under the USB (I am assuming your scanner connects to a USB port). Once there you can see if your computer is even reading that it has a scanner as a peripheral device, if not then start simple first, like is the cable and connections good, etc etc.... ~p3@c3~
