I made some from materials I found @ work (I work in a craft store btw)... every friday we get a store order, often with a container of paint brushes. Each bundle of paint brushes - I don't know why - comes with a 10" long, 1/8" wide dowel, which we just throw out. So, for the last 2 or 3 weeks, I've been keeping these dowels and last night painted a bunch, and on one end decorated with wire and beads or flowers or some funky eyelash yarn, it turned out really nice and super easy to do.
