pools

    i was just wondering i just went into a pool the other day and like it has chlorine and shit in it, but the next day i took a shower and washed my hair and really rinsed it out good, but what would happen if i didnt rinse my hair?:eek: like is swimming in a pool a bad idea? cuz my friend has one and im afraid to go in it too much. Ive only gone in once tho so im sure nothing is ganna happen. just making sure. THANKS! haha peace

    Don't worry about it at all. I swim damn near every day and don't rinse after I swim.

    Chlorine doesn't hurt it.

    If you're worried about it, one thing you could do is get your locks wet before you jump in the pool. If you're hair is wet before hitting the chlorine, it won't absorb as much pool water.

    i swam 2night dident hurt them i think it helped a lil mb im juss crazy

    my hair gets green if i swim too often in chlorine. lol

    What you have to remember is chlorine is a STRONG chemical. as long as he doesnt put too much chlorine in the pool you should be ok. But think about what it doesto yuor eyes in the normakl amount. Now if he puts TOO much chlorine in it can actually damage your skin so over a looong period of time i'd say chlorine WOULDTN be too good for your hair. but as long as he's sparing in the use of it. To be honest if he changed the water regulary in the pool theres no need for chlorine.
