latin is awesome. i know a lot of people who speak latin, and it's cool because they can understand spanish, french, and italian

What good did English ever do for me? I should be speaking Italian. I'm not English. Maybe I'll take up Hawaiian. Those folks seem pretty happy.
I searched and searched the english dictionary for the word "lol," but could not find it anywhere. lolz.
....... language evolves, "leet" is simply another dialect, just as "ebonics" is a dialect, simply as there have been dialects of english and will be until it dies, all languages evolve, you can perhaps bemoan the death of a dialect (see elizibethian english) but until no one speaks anything that even resembles english it has yet to die or even suffer injury dilects, this is the way of things...... accept it, you'll be happier.....
I'm taking Latin next year. I don't see why people get as worked up as they do about those who don't speak English. Most tend to assume that the other party should learn a new language to fit their world, without even considering to make a small effort to at least be able to understand important parts of their native language while they make the transition. This country is not united by common language. We're not united by a common cultural... anything. Which is fine and good, in my opinion, and if people don't want to speak English, they shouldn't have to.

I know that I am damn happy with my dialect, that it is perhaps not 100% vernacular, but wtf, it's mine and those who bemoan the "death" of something that is only evolving btw, the scientific establishment's argument against intelligent design is that you can't prove it wrong you can't prove that anything doesn't exist, it's not possible, and yet that is okay for scientists to believe, but because you can't disprove this this is horrible to believe I'm sure that sentence is somewhat tangled because I only have my fingertips on this argument myself, but it should be a viable one if you take the bits and reassemble them properly..... god I wish my brain worked the way it almost does....... the way it does on good days..... I wish I were @ 100% all the time, all this 2 cylender (know I spelled that shit wrong) bullshit sucks......
