I know english, I know well, I speak it as I choose, it is language, it has rules that are meant to be flexible, creoles happen, dialects happen, lingual evolution happens....
hahhaha, what?! I don't know, I have never thought so about my language, czech, which is more difficult, I think..
complete works of shakespeare, 30,000 different words complete works of byron 6,000 different words you don't need to know a lot of words in each language to get your point across, just enough though I wouldn't count on being the best german playwright of all time w\ 6000 words.....
hmm... I don't know how many words czech has.. but EVERYONE, who learns czech, I mean from foreigners, says, it's the most difficult language.. I don't know
I'd say english from mandarin..... or vice versa mostly because in mandarin you use totally different mouth muscles and some people end up having surgery so they can learn the other also mandarin is tonal and english is whatever you call a language that isn't tonal mandarin has strict rules, in english every rule, I mean every rule has an example of breakage chech does have some nasty glottal shit, but it is still in the mode of a lot of other languages I mean from a default it could average out hardest but I'd still say that in that individual situation, english\mandarin, that's just nasty shit.....
come on, you should be "all up in" philology...... I have a creeping suspiscion I spelled that wrong..... it looks right, sounds right, but I never spell it right I'll check it later and edit it accordingly if I remember.....
why did this sound to me like the purist theories of language experts who put all their media effort in trying to conserve the language as it is? Oh and you might want to avoid 'lol' dearest, it's not standard english
I freakin love Newfies. I dont think they're as dumb as people say they are. They just lead simpler lives, I suppose, and that's how it should be.
there is no such language as hawiian. there's tahitian and polynesian and im sure niether of those are spelled correctly
i like English because it's the only language I know how to speak. that and gibberish but nobody knows what I'm talking about. i'm speaking gibberish right now!
are you talking about double-g? i know how to speak that. and to all the others... i know i'm ignorant, that's why i started this thread! yet, not one of you has explained what "teh" "pwn u hos" or "newfies" means.
If I we're in charge there would only be four languages, English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Hindi, and if you don't know one, you can either pick up some books, or form your little half monkey society in France. Maybe I'm going a little far, but does Sweden really need its own language?
