Does anyone know where I can find a crochet pattern for mukluks (slipper socks)? I've found plenty of knitted ones, but I'm not a proficient enough knitter to do this. mouse_gnome
you mean between knit and crochet? Well knit you use 2 needles, crochet you use 1, that's the main difference... therefore the patterns are written entirely different. And no, sorry, I don't know where any crochet patterns would be, sadly - I only have a knit pattern.
The mukluks I've seen are in the new Gypsy Rose catalog. Maybe I can figure out how to convert one of the knitted patterns to crochet. I'll be sure to post photos if I get it worked out.
I found a pattern... which I kinda followed (i'm not good at following instructions) and came up with these:
Dayum IceTea... Those are the fucking bomb! Can you share a link for the pattern? I hope its simple because Im not a super good knitter yet.
YBH - they are crochet, not knit... but I will try and find the pattern, and then see if there is one of those "convert to knit" buttons...

I only vaguely followed the pattern as I used 2 strands of yarn for the soles instead of leather. I made a cutout of my foot, and then crochet a sole that fit the outline.
