I don't know he did help us through alot. He may be an idiot to some but he does know what he's doing or else no one would have elected him.

Much of it was just a scare tactic. The voting public almost reminds me of women who are stuck in abusive relationships and feel the need for someone authoritarian to run their lives for them. It makes them feel more secure.

The Bush administration is well aware of this. Bush ran a big ad campaign in the Midwest showing a young mother in a minivan full of little children (of course with no husband present) saying, "I'm voting for George Bush because he's keeping me safe." I'm sure many people felt that way too.

Interesting how all those terror scare messages of Tom Ridge disappeared right after the November elections. It's ashame that so many people don't realize the psychological tactics being used on them.

It's also disappointing how people who claim to be libertarian defend tooth and nail someone as authoritarian as Bush.

BAGHDAD, Iraq, Aug. 9 - Armed men entered Baghdad's municipal building during a blinding dust storm on Monday, deposed the city's mayor and installed a member of Iraq's most powerful Shiite militia. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/10/international/middleeast/10iraq.html?th&emc=th

yup, looks JUST like democracy to me...

Well according to the government in Iraq, he was fired, it's the mayor himself who is saying he got ousted by gunmen, and the town council in Baghdad has now nominated a new mayor to take his place now, but the central government has confirmed it yet.

People interested in protesting ought to consider going down to Crawford, TX and protest along with that woman who lost her son in Iraq. There's about a hundred people there right now, not all that much. The media spotlight is on Crawford.

I sure hope we're not in Iraq 20 years. That will be about $3 trillion the way things have been going.

Why doesn't everyone just head on down to Crawford. :)

Think about it. If enough people go down there, Bush might get so uncomfortable that he might actually head to the White House where he's supposed to be in the first place. :)

Nowhere does it say the president is supposed to be in the White House everyday of his term.
Bush has been an extremely busy man, why should he not be allowed to have a little peace at his ranch in Texas? Not like it's much peace and quiet when the shehan bitch and her protesters are yelling and chanting.
He is not just relaxing either, he is still hard at work everyday.

Bush has been on vacation most of his term. He was asleep at the wheel at Crawford the whole month preceding 911, and most of the summer for that matter, when there were memos about terrorist hijackings. Thanks a lot Bush. :)

Yet those clowns in Congress can call a special session for a brain dead woman in Florida with Bush even taking time from his vacation in Texas to make a trip to DC to sign the legislation. They sure have their priorities in order.

Gill went to a private school that his parents paid for. What does it matter who makes the shirts he wears, he buys what he likes. Work is work. And i believe he is not in a fraternity but I could be wrong. What does all these questions have to do with the subject at hand.
Bush is working. You can tell yourself what you want but you would be lying to yourself. Saddam had wmd's and terrorist ties. He was a tyranical dictator. Oh my god, HE IS OUT OF POWER! The world is going to shit because of it. The iraqi's now are installing a democracy, they now have basic freedoms such as voting. OH THE HORROR!
    Freedom costs lives.
