i was recently changing channels, and for my misfortune i discovered i had this channel that is about... fashion! i stood and analyze the body of the girls out there. and i thank God because i'm able to eat whatever i want. poor girls... but why is it that we are so concern about our apperance*. people should accept us the way we are, and not by the type of cloth we use. that is so materialistic! i hate this materialistic world!!
Gotta love the fashion channel. FTV... Best thing to watch at 4 at night when one cannot fall asleep... attractive girls just keep walking, and walking, and walking........ But seriously, yes... society is this way... materialistic... c'est la vie... I blame it on TV...
i don't get it. I don't see problem with materialism. A certain degree of materialism is necessary for a comfortable and decent life in this world. What is wrong with a means to living well? I can see why some wouldn't like it but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it, right?
I love fashion. I don't give a damn what other people are wearing and I don't give a damn what people think of what I am wearing. But all the same, I love fashion and I love creating outfits. I don't think that people can help but judge people, at least a bit, from their appearance.
migu, i get along quite well with gay men, and generally appreciate their fashion sense...yeah i guess you're right it's sorta wierd. on the other hand, if we let straight men pick out our clothes, we'd all be walking around in stillettos and pasties....
