me and my friend are gonna prolly go out into the woods for a week or so, and among the numerous substances ill be bringing with me, there'll be kava kava hopefully. first question: is it okay to do this stuff on a daily basis for a week?

second: i plan on ordering from an online vendor, and...im just making sure im getting a better deal

theyre selling "Kava Kava 30% Kavalactone Capsules"

"One of our most popular products, these 350mg capsules contain 30% Kavalactone extract. Kava Kava is revered for its empathogenic and aphrodisiac qualities, and the kava we use is unusually potent and suits the needs for long and pleasant ceremonies that are conducive to sociability and the telling of long stories.
    "
    25 gelcaps for $9

and then they have "Instant Kona Kava "

"These exclusive re-sealable foil packs contain enough for 6 double-strength or 12 single-strength instant servings per each 4 oz pack. Save yourself the extraction; simply mix with your favorite juice, milk, soy milk, or coconut milk for a drink that doesn't need an acquired taste to enjoy! Flavored with organic, all-natural ingredients. Made with our coveted root only Kava Kava powdered extract. "

    100 grams for $13

now, i'd prefer taking kava kava the more polynesian way, by drinking it that is, but then again im very money-concerned and i would prefer lugging around some gelcaps over a jug of juice

..so which is the better deal?

    thanksabunch

Hm, i did a little researching, imagine that, and it turns out that you usually have to swallow a handful of these gelcaps to get the proper dosage. Looks like I might either be getting straightup root, (which is smokable) or with these ready-to-make drinks. anybody have any experience with 'em? from iamashaman

how many mg's of kavelectones are in those ready-make drinks? anyone kno?

if you plan on using any alcohol along with kava u should reconsider, it is very dangerous to mix alcohol and kava, or a number of other substances with kava, many presciption drugs for depression and stuff
but it is fun, so look up info on it and be smart and enjoy

Kava-kava is very toxic to your liver!

If you really want to use it, stay away from any other drug metabolised by your liver (incl. alcohol)!

In a couple of countries, kavain (the active ingredient of kava-kava) has recently been banned for good reasons. Before that, it was available as a prescription free medic and solved in some "energy tonicums".
Here in Germany, from 1995 to 1999 there´ve been 7 reports of death by liver-failure because of the ingestion of kava-kava products, that´s why the substance is forbidden here now.

Never take it, if you suffer from any kind of live desease!

Or better: don´t take it at all!
